About Support Dental Care

Welcome to Support Dental Care (SDC), where we are dedicated to improving oral health and fostering the growth of dental professionals both locally and internationally. Our mission is to make a positive impact on the dental community and the oral health of vulnerable populations through a variety of innovative programs and partnerships.

Our Mission

At SDC, we are committed to:

  • Supporting Local Dental Professionals: We provide a platform for local dental professionals to connect, share knowledge, and stay updated with the latest advancements in the field. Our community is built on collaboration and continuous learning.

  • Courses for Overseas Dentists: We offer specialised courses designed for overseas dentists who are looking to enhance their skills and adapt to the standards and practices in Australia. Our courses are tailored to meet the unique needs of internationally trained dentists who aim to enhance their skills and prepare for the Australian Dental Council exams. 

  • Connecting Dental Students with Mentors: We facilitate connections between dental students and experienced mentors. This mentorship program helps students gain valuable insights, guidance, and support as they embark on their careers in dentistry.

  • Oral Health Promotion Programs: We believe in the power of education and prevention. Our oral health promotion programs are designed to reach vulnerable populations, providing them with the knowledge and resources they need to maintain good oral health.

  • Selling Merchandise: We offer a diverse range of merchandise, including dental tools, educational materials, and branded items. Ten percent of the proceeds from our merchandise sales go directly towards supporting our oral health promotion programs and initiatives.

  • Partnering with Local Charities: We collaborate with local charities to help bridge the gap in access to oral health care for underserved communities. Together, we strive to ensure that everyone has access to the dental care they need.
